Six of the world’s top 10 golfers are among the twenty competitors in the Hero World Challenge. Tiger Woods is hosting an unofficial golf tournament at the Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas. Along with him and 19 other top players is a field of 20.
This tournament OKBET Golf Betting has been held here six times, with the most recent winner being Viktor Hovland, who edged out Scottie Scheffler by two strokes. With a recent victory at the DP World Tour Championship, Jon Rahm is the clear betting favorite at +600. This is his second victory in his previous three global starts. The last three champions have all been Europeans (Hovland, Henrik Stenson, Rahm).
2022 Hero World Challenge Odds
Tiger Woods is playing in his first competition since the Open Championship in July, when he did not get past the first round. ‘The Match’ kicks off a hectic month for the ex-world No. 1 golfer, who will also compete in the PNC father-son event the following week (December 17).
Tony Finau on a Tear
Tony Finau struggled to win tournaments at the final hole for quite some time, but in 2022, all changed. Following consecutive victories at the 3M Open and Rocket Mortgage Classic, he took home first place in the Houston Open. With 36 rounds under his belt, he leads the pack in virtually every strokes gained statistic.

Finau’s career results on this course have been quite promising as well. He finished second to Jon Rahm in 2018. He finished T-10th in 2018, T-7th in 2017, and T-6th in 2018. With +1000 odds, he has worse odds than the top two players.

2022 Hero World Challenge Picks and Value Bets
Viktor Hovland (+1400): Viktor Hovland, the defending champion, is the king of resort destination tournaments. He has won in Mexico twice and Puerto Rico once. In his last seven global starts, the Norwegian has placed in the top 25 six times. He is currently tied for fourth in strokes gained over the previous twelve rounds on the PGA Tour.
Tom Kim (+2000) is a 20-year-old star who has finished in the top 25 in six of his past seven events. In that time frame, he has won the Wyndham Championship and the Shriners Children’s Open, both of which are events on the PGA Tour. He showed no fear in defeating top players in the Presidents Cup. Kim is currently second in strokes gained over the previous 24 rounds and is fresh off a T-4th place finish at the Dunlop Phoenix.
Even though Collin Morikawa didn’t have a great year by his lofty standards, the +2000 odds he has versus only 19 other players are quite appealing. Morikawa had a difficult year, but he still managed five top-five finishes. Particularly impressive is the fact that he led by five strokes after 54 holes last year, demonstrating his familiarity with the layout (finished T-5th).
